In the fall of 2006, Bright Shining City Productions finished its first major project, the documentary, “Pola Negri, Life is a Dream in Cinema.” The film won wide acclaim at film festivals and will be released coincident with an accompanying book on the diva’s life.
“Forgiveness,” completed in late February 2008, is the company’s first full-length motion picture. It portrays the reconciliation of Polish Jewish and Christian holocaust survivors and subsequent generations. The film will be shown at numerous film festivals during 2008, with its “premiere” set for Los Angeles in early June.
